Gunther Geller, company board member/Chief technological expert, the chairman of IÖV. Since 1986, he has given lectures about ecological engineering in universities in Germany, such as Technical University of Munich, Justus-Liebig-University Giessen, University of Applied Sciences Wismar etc. Mr. Geller is the chief scientist in the field of ecological engineering in Germany. He is the chairman of IÖV since 1993. He has many research and practical experiences in ecological wetland, low carbon settlement etc. in different countries, like Russia, Ghana, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Ethiopia etc. His publications, such as Practioners Manual for Constructed Wetlands, Sustainable Rural and Urban Ecosystems: Design, Implementation and Operation etc., are practical guidelines for practioners. He gives outstanding contribution to the development of ecological engineering.
